We recently stayed at Focus Rooms for six days and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect, just near El Nido proper, and the rock formation view is stunning. The room was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We felt like the most spoiled guests! Manu was especially helpful, giving us great alternative suggestions when it rained and going out of his way to get a specific motorbike for my boyfriend, who couldn't stop riding it. It was such a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend Focus Rooms! X

Very mixed feelings about this place. Loved the location and staff! Breakfast was really good, layout is small and cozy. What's not cozy though, is the constant construction going on around the place, well into the night time. Hard to relax with grinders constantly going off, one night they were grinding untill 2am-3am. You're not informed about this of course, nor is there a disclaimer anywhere about it. I can't complain about the day time work very much as stuff needs to get done, I think everyone could agree but, the night time work is a deal breaker for me. Second thing I had a issue with was that our room had some mold. Above the vent in the washroom and around the aircon. Our neighbor also complained about mold but it was on the mattress in their room. Now to be fair the mold could have been a previous situation, not really sure. There was for sure mold stains on the bed dressing though so regardless, just to make things look better and make customers feel better about their stay. The sheets should have been replaced. I will personally not be staying here again when I return, place needs a bit more work before it will be worth it. I didn't ask for a refund or a credit, and it would have not changed my opinion if I recieved one. They are very accommodating so incase you have concerns or complaints I'm sure they will get you right. Thanks for the stay and best of luck

We stopped in Focus Rooms around 8am after a rough night in a different hotel. Upon arrival staff were so welcoming and offered us water and showed us a room straight away. We promptly transfered our bags over and met the manager and the owner before settling in. Both were lovely and made us feel at home straight away. The rooms are clean, cozy and have great lighting and aircon. The pool is perfect to relax and read a book while floating. There was a power outage on our first night but generators had the power back on within minutes. We are so happy with everything about Focus Rooms and would suggest to anyone looking for an affordable, clean and quiet hotel with easy access to the main tourist areas of El Nido.

The room looks nice, with finally a good bed! We enjoyed the breakfast at our private patio. Focus Rooms is a relatively small property, the neighbours are very close. The pool is nice. Right now there is a lot of construction noice, which prevented us from sitting outside in our patio or near the pool. Unfortunately Focus Rooms did not informed us about that. Now it feels a bit overpriced (120 USD with breakfast included). We did not get the relaxation vibes we were hoping for. For the same price there are lots of other hotels with better features I think.

We’ve stayed here for two nights and can highly recommend it. The room was very comfortable with a nice and spacious bathroom and a comfortable bed, also there was enough space for clothes. The pool area invited one to stay there and enjoy the sun. The hotel is located between Corong Corong Beach and the city, so I would recommend renting a motorcycle to get to one or the other. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
